  • 4 bread slices ((brown or white))
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese ((or processed cheese) shredded)
  • 1/4 cup colored bell peppers
  • 2 tablespoons tomato ((deseeded) finely chopped)
  • 1-2 green chilies ((or jalapeno) finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves (finely chopped optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano ((or any mixed herbs))
  • salt and black pepper (to taste)

Method

How to Make Veg Chilli Cheese Toast Tawa

  1. Prep Veggies – Finely chop/dice the vegetables.
  2. Prepare cheese mixture – Combine the cheese, vegetables and spices in a mixing bowl. Keep aside.
  3. Toast Bread – Toast the bread with butter on one side only.
  4. Top bread slices: Spread chili cheese mixture on the toasted bread side.
  5. Toast on Stovetop Tawa: Heat the iron tawa on medium-low heat. Spread some butter and place the bread slice. Cover the glass lid and cook on lowest flame until bread is toasted well and cheese has melted (Takes 4-5 minutes).
  6. Cut it into your desired shape.
  7. Serve Vegetable cheese toast hot with masala chai or milkshake.

Chili Cheese Toast on Oven

  1. If you are making these delicious Chilli toast on Oven then Pre-heat the oven to about 360 ° F (180°C) for 5 minutes. Place all the bread in a baking tray and bake for about 5 minutes at 360°F (180°C). Keep an eye on the toast while it is cooking.
