Ingredients
- 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes ((appx 3 medium potato))
- 2 tablespoons onion ((optional))
- 2 tablespoons coriander leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala powder
- 6 bread slices
- 1/4 cup green chutney
- 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese ((or amul processed cheese))
- 2 tablespoons butter
- salt (to taste)
Method
- Add potato, onion, coriander leaves, red chili powder, chat masala, garam masala, salt, and mix this well in a bowl.
- Take a bread slice spread the green chutney on this spread and the grated cheese.
- Take another bread slice spread the potato mixture. Take another bread slice, apply green chutney, and spread the potato mixture. Now, place another slice of bread on top.
- Put this on a tawa or grill the sandwich till browned from both sides.
- Cut into triangles and serve a potato cheese sandwich hot with tomato ketchup.
