Mint Juice or Pudina Juice is a healthy and refreshing drink for summers made from fresh mint leaves and lemon.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves ((pudina))
  • 9 to 10 tablespoons jaggery powder (or sugar, add as required)
  • ¼ cup water (or add as required)
  • ½ teaspoon black salt (or regular salt)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder ((jeera powder))
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Method

  1. Remove the mint leaves from the stems. Rinse in water for a couple of times. Drain all the water.
  2. Add all the rinsed mint leaves, jaggery or sugar, salt, cumin powder, lemon juice and water in a blender and blend to a smooth and fine paste.
  3. Strain the juice mixture.
  4. Take ¼ amount of the strained mint juice in a glass. Add ¾ amount of water. Mix well.
  5. Add a few ice cubes and serve the Mint Juice cold.
