Ingredients

  • 1 pizza base (homemade or store bought)
  • 250 grams paneer
  • 3.5 tablespoons thick yogurt or hung curd
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garam masala powder
  • ¼ teaspoon curry powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika powder
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili powder (or adjust to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon black salt
  • salt (to taste)
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese or to taste

Method

  1. Cut paneer into small cubes. Add finely chopped ginger and garlic to it. Add cubed onions and mix.
  2. Add the dry spices - red chili powder, paprika powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and curry powder.
  3. Also add the regular salt and black salt.
  4. Add in the thick yogurt and mix everything till well combined.
  5. Cover and keep this marinated mixture in the refrigerator for a minimum of 1 hour or preferably overnight.
  6. Preheat oven to 500 F degrees. Preheat for 30 minutes before you put the pizza in.
  7. Roll the pizza dough into a 10 inch round pizza base.
  8. Poke it with fork all over so that it doesn't balloon up while in the oven. Fold the edges of the base.
  9. Spread the marinated paneer mixture all over the pizza base.
  10. Top it with shredded mozzarella cheese or any other cheese of your choice.
  11. Bake at 500 F degrees for 5 minutes and then rotate the pan 180 degree and bake for another 3 minutes till the cheese is all bubbly and melted.
  12. Slice and serve immediately.
