Ingredients
for frying paneer:
- 20 cubes paneer
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- ¼ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp garam masala
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 tbsp curd
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 3 tbsp corn flour
- oil (for frying)
for sauce:
- 2 tbsp oil
- pinch hing
- 1 inch ginger (finely chopped)
- 5 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- 2 chilli (finely chopped)
- 2 dried red chilli (broken)
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- ½ tsp chilli powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp chaat masala
- few curry leaves
Method
- Firstly, take 20 cubes of paneer in a bowl. Add 1 tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp garam masala, and ½ tsp salt.
- Also add 3 tbsp curd, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and 3 tbsp corn flour. Mix well.
- Deep fry in hot oil, keeping the flame on medium.
- Once the paneer turns golden brown and crunchy, drain off the paneer and keep it aside.
- In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil. Add a pinch of salt, 1 inch of ginger, 5 cloves of garlic, 2 chillies, and 2 dried red chillies. Saute well.
- Also add 2 tbsp tomato sauce, ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp chaat masala and cook till the sauce turns glossy.
- Now add a few curry leaves and fried paneer.
- Mix well, making sure the sauce is coated well.
