Ingredients

for frying paneer:

  • 20 cubes paneer
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp curd
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 3 tbsp corn flour
  • oil (for frying)

for sauce:

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • pinch hing
  • 1 inch ginger (finely chopped)
  • 5 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 chilli (finely chopped)
  • 2 dried red chilli (broken)
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • few curry leaves

Method

  1. Firstly, take 20 cubes of paneer in a bowl. Add 1 tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp garam masala, and ½ tsp salt.
  2. Also add 3 tbsp curd, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and 3 tbsp corn flour. Mix well.
  3. Deep fry in hot oil, keeping the flame on medium.
  4. Once the paneer turns golden brown and crunchy, drain off the paneer and keep it aside.
  5. In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil. Add a pinch of salt, 1 inch of ginger, 5 cloves of garlic, 2 chillies, and 2 dried red chillies. Saute well.
  6. Also add 2 tbsp tomato sauce, ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp chaat masala and cook till the sauce turns glossy.
  7. Now add a few curry leaves and fried paneer.
  8. Mix well, making sure the sauce is coated well.
  9. Finally, enjoy Paneer 65 Recipe hot as a starter.
