Ingredients

  • 4 tsp oil
  • ½ tsp mustard
  • ½ tsp cumin / jeera
  • few curry leaves
  • 3 clove garlic (sliced)
  • 1 green chilli (slit)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tomato (chopped)
  • 500 grams mushroom (slice)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ¼ tsp kashmiri chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp pepper (crushed)
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Method

  1. firstly, in a large kadai heat 4 tsp oil and add ½ tsp mustard, ½ tsp cumin, few curry leaves.
  2. also, add 3 clove garlic and 1 green chilli. saute and splutter.
  3. further add 1 onion, 1 tsp ginger paste and saute well.
  4. additionally, add 1 tomato and saute till tomatoes turn soft and mushy.
  5. furthermore, add 500 grams of sliced mushroom and ½ tsp salt.
  6. saute for 2 minutes and cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. now add ½ tsp turmeric, ¼ tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp garam masala and ½ tsp pepper.
  8. saute for a minute till masala gets cooked well.
  9. now add 2 tbsp coriander leaves and 1 tbsp lemon juice. mix well.
  10. finally, serve mushroom ki sabji recipe with roti / chapati.
