Ingredients
- 2 cup wheat flour
- 2 tbsp milk powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- milk (for kneading)
- ghee (for roasting)
Method
- firstly, in a large bowl take 2 cup wheat flour, 2 tbsp milk powder, 1 tbsp sugar and ½ tsp salt.
- mix well making sure everything is well combined.
- add warm milk gradulally and start to knead the dough.
- knead to smooth and soft dough.
- grease 2 tsp oil, cover and rest for 10 minutes.
- knead the dough again making sure the dough is soft.
- further, pinch a ball sized dough and dust with wheat flour.
- roll gently to thick thickness.
- spread some ghee, sprinkle milkpowder and sugar.
- fold into square or shape of your choice.
- now roll gently, to as thin as possible roti without putting much pressure.
- now place the rolled chapati over hot tawa.
- cook on medium flame until the base is cooked.
- flip over and cook both sides.
- spread a tsp of ghee and press gently to puff up.
- cook until both sides of chapati are cooked well.
- finally,Milk Roti Recipe is ready to enjoy as it is or with spicy curry.
