Ingredients

  • ½ tsp fenugreek seeds
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 red chilli (byadagi)
  • ½ cup grated coconut
  • 1 cup curd / yogurt
  • 1 tsp ghee

seasoning Ingredients

  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • ½ tsp urad dal / uddina bele
  • few curry leaves

Method

  1. in a frying pan take jeera, menthe/fenugreek seeds and red chilli and fry it with ghee for 2 minutes
  2. add coconut to the frying pan and continue to fry for a minute
  3. set aside the to cool down
  4. transfer all the fried ingredients to blender and add little water to blend it to a smooth paste
  5. take 1 cup of curd in a bowl and whisk it to a smooth paste
  6. mix the grounded paste to curd
  7. add salt as per the taste
  8. heat oil in a pan and temper with the tempering ingredients.
