Ingredients
for puree:
- 2 tomato
- 2 tbsp cashew (soaked)
for curry:
- 2 tbsp ghee
- ½ cup cashew
- 20 cubes paneer (cubed)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 inch cinnamon
- 5 cloves
- 4 pepper
- 2 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp chilli powder
- 2 tbsp curd
- 1 tsp salt
- hot water
- 2 tbsp cream
- 2 tbsp kasuri methi (crushed)
- 2 tbsp coriander (finely chopped)
- 2 chilli (slit)
- ½ tsp garam masala
Method
- In a mixer jar take 2 tomato, 2 tbsp cashew and grind them to a smooth paste. Keep asdie.
- In a large kadai, heat 2 tbsp ghee. Fry ½ cup cashews till they turn golden brown. Keep aside.
- Also, fry 20 cubes of paneer till they turn golden brown. Keep aside.
- Add in 2 tbsp oil. Add 1 tsp cumin, 1 inch cinnamon, 5 cloves, 4 pepper, and saute till the spices turn aromatic.
- Add in 2 onion, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and saute till the onions turn golden brown.
- Keeping the flame on low add ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tbsp chilli powder.
- Saute on low flame till the spices turn aromatic.
- Add in prepared tomato puree and cook well.
- Add 2 tbsp curd and 1 tsp salt and cook until the mixture releases oil.
- Add in hot water and mix well adjusting the consistency as required. Cook well.
- Further, add 2 tbsp cream, fried cashew and paneer. Mix and cook till the flavors are well absorbed.
- Now add 2 tbsp kasuri methi, 2 tbsp coriander, 2 chilli, and ½ tsp garam masala. Mix well.
