Ingredients
- 1/4 cup milk (warm)
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (+ more to drizzle on top)
- 2 cups milk (cold)
- whipped cream (for serving)
Method
- Warm 1/4 cup milk in a pan on the stove-top (or microwave it), you don't need to boil it but warm it. Then transfer it to a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of instant coffee to it. Since the milk is warm, the coffee dissolves quickly and easily.
- Now, add sugar to taste, around 1 to 2 tablespoons. Add 2 teaspoons of unsweetened cocoa powder and stir until everything is combined using a wire whisk.
- Now, add 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup. Using a wire whisk, mix until everything is well combined. Set this aside.
- To a blender, add 2 cups of cold milk (of choice). Add the prepared coffee and chocolate mixture to it. Add a few ice cubes if you want. Blend until it's all well combined and frothy.
- Pour your iced mocha into glasses. Top with whipped cream if desired. You can also drizzle some chocolate syrup on top before serving.
