Method

Roasting the Coriander Seeds

  1. Heat a heavy bottom pan on medium-low heat and add the coriander seeds. Dry roast them by stirring at regular intervals till they slightly change in color and you get the nutty aroma of the seeds. Switch off the flame and transfer to a plate. Let it cook down completely.

Grinding Coriander Powder

  1. Once the roasted coriander seeds have cooled down, transfer them to the spice grinder and blend to make a coarse or fine powder.
  2. Transfer the powder into a dry, clean airtight glass container.
