Ingredients
- 600 grams or 3 large oranges
- 600 grams or 3 large sweet limes ((mosambi))
- 2 to 3 tablespoon sugar (or add as required)
- ⅛ teaspoon black salt (or add as required, optional)
- ice cubes (or water to thin down the juice if required, optional)
Method
- Peel and remove the segments from the oranges and sweet limes.
- Add the citrus segments to the feeder tube of the juicer. Tip: You can also halve the fruits and manually extract the juice using a citrus fruit juicer.
- Extract the juice from the juicer and pour it in a bowl or pan.
- Add sugar as required. Also add black salt.
- Mix well to dissolve the sugar. Pour the juice in glasses.
- Serve Ganga Jamuna juice immediately, as it can turn bitter if kept for a few minutes.
- Add a few ice cubes if you prefer while serving.
- You can also sprinkle a few pinches of chaat masala or roasted cumin powder for extra flavor.
