Drumstick or Moringa leaves Raita is an easy and healthy raita recipe made with yogurt (curd), sautéed moringa leaves and some spices

Ingredients
Measuring cup used 1 cup = 250ml
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil (Or any oil)
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin (jeera) seeds
- 1 green chilli (finely chopped)
- 1 cup tender drumstick (moringa leaves) (tighlty packed)
- 1 cup yogurt (curd)
- 1/8 teaspoon black salt
- salt & black pepper (to taste)
Method
- Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a Kadai. Add cumin (jeera) seeds. Let them splutter.
- Then add green chilies, tender drumstick leaves, and salt. Saute for a few seconds till drumstick leaves shrink. Cool the mixture before adding to the yogurt.
- Whisk the yogurt or curd in a large mixing bowl.
- Add sautéed drumstick leaves mixture, black salt, and black pepper powder, mix well. Taste at this stage to make sure the amount of salt and spices is enough.
- Moringa/Drumstick leaves Raita is ready, Serve chilled.
