Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate chips (some more to sprinkle on top)
  • ¾ cup pistachio (roasted & unsalted, chopped in halves)
  • ¾ cup condensed milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp butter (unsalted)
  • ¼ tsp salt

Method

  1. Line a square pan with parchment paper, set aside.
  2. Put the chocolate chips in a heavy bottom pan, keep at flame at medium-low.
  3. As the chocolate starts melting, stir in the butter.
  4. Also add in the condensed milk and vanilla extract.
  5. Stir till the mixture becomes a smooth paste.
  6. Switch off the flame and add the pistachios, mix.
  7. Pour the mixture in the pan lined with parchment paper.
  8. Once it comes to room temperature, put the pan in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
  9. Cut into squares using a knife. The parchment paper will peel off easily.
  10. Keep the squares refrigerated.
