Ingredients

for aloo stuffing:

  • 3 aloo (boiled & mashed)
  • ½ tsp ginger paste
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp chaat masala
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp coriander (finely chopped)

for besan batter:

  • 2 cup besan
  • 3 tbsp rice flour
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1¼ cup water

other ingredients:

  • 4 slice bread (white or brown)
  • 4 tsp green chutney
  • 2 slice paneer / cottage cheese
  • oil (for frying)

Method

aloo stuffing preparation:

  1. firstly, in a large bowl take 3 aloo, ½ tsp ginger paste, ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chilli powder.
  2. also add ¼ tsp garam masala, ½ tsp chaat masala, ¼ tsp salt and 2 tbsp coriander.
  3. mix well, aloo stuffing is ready. keep aside.

besan batter for bread pakoda:

  1. firstly, in a large bowl take 2 cup besan, 3 tbsp rice flour.
  2. add ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp baking soda and ½ tsp salt.
  3. further, add 1¼ cup water and prepare a thick lump free batter.
  4. finally, besan batter is ready to prepare pakoda. keep aside.

aloo paneer bread pakoda preparation:

  1. firstly, spread 1 tsp of green chutney on 2 slices of bread.
  2. also spread 2 tbsp of prepared aloo stuffing uniformly.
  3. now place 1 thick slice of paneer.
  4. cover with other bread slice and cut half.
  5. further, dip the stuffed bread in besan batter coating uniformly.
  6. deep fry in oil, keeping the flame on medium.
  7. flip over and fry both sides until the pakora turns golden brown and crisp.
  8. finally, aloo paneer bread pakora recipe is ready to enjoy with tomato sauce.
