Ingredients

  • 1 medium ripe avocado ((about 1/2 cup pulp))
  • 1 cup yogurt ((or greek yogurt), whisked till smooth)
  • 2 tablespoons onion (diced)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato (diced)
  • 2 tablespoons cucumber (diced)
  • 1 green chili (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons coriander leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin (jeera) powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • salt (to taste)

Method

  1. Using your knife, cut around the seed and twist, which will separate them into two halves. Using a spoon scoop out the flesh.
  2. In a mixing bowl, use a fork or a potato masher to mash the avocados to nearly smooth. Then add the whisked yogurt.
  3. Add chopped onion, tomato, cucumber, green chilies, lime juice, coriander, spices like roasted jeera powder, chat masala powder, and salt. Mix it very well. Serve it immediately or chilled.
