Ingredients

  • 8 oz bella mushroom (cut in to half)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder ((or minced garlic))
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce ((or worcestershire sauce))
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Garnish

  • few lemon wedges
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)

Method

  1. Start by cleaning the mushrooms. Wipe them with a damp kitchen(or paper) towel to clean the dirt. Avoid soaking or running underwater. Cut the mushrooms into half.
  2. Toss mushrooms with olive oil and soy sauce, season with garlic powder (or minced garlic), salt, and pepper.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 380 ° F (193°C). Add the seasoned mushrooms to the air fryer basket and spread them in a single layer (cook in batches if required).
  4. Air fryer them at 380 ° F (193°C) for 8-10 minutes or until they are brown, tender, and juicy. Shake the basket halfway through.
  5. The air fryer mushrooms are ready. Remove in a serving plate, squeeze some lemon juice and garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.

Oven Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the seasoned mushrooms evenly in a single layer. Bake at 400˚F for 10-15 minutes till brown, tender, and juicy, tossing occasionally.
