Ingredients
- 8 oz fresh green beans (trimmed)
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder ((or minced garlic))
- salt and pepper (to taste)
Method
- Wash the green beans thoroughly, dry them. Trim off the stem on each end.
- Place the beans in a bowl. Drizzle some olive oil. Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix well until well coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 370 ° F (187°C). Add the seasoned green beans to the basket of air fryer and spread them evenly in a single layer (cook in batches if required).
- Air fryer them at 370 ° F (187°C) for 7-8 minutes or just until they are tender-crisp. Shake the basket halfway through. Mine were perfectly done at 8 minutes.
- Perfectly Roasted Green Beans are ready. Remove on a serving plate, squeeze some lime juice and serve it immediately.
Oven Method
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the seasoned green beans evenly in a single layer. Bake at 425˚F for about 16-18 minutes, or till tender crisp. You may have to turn them once halfway through.
