Easy Aate Ki Barfi Recipe | Wheat Besan Burfi - Halwai Style

Ingredients
- 1½ cup atta / wheat flour
- 1½ cup besan
- 1 cup ghee
- 3 tbsp rava / semolina (fine)
- pinch saffron food colour
- 1½ cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp nuts (chopped)
Method
- Firstly, in a large kadai take 1½ cup atta and 1½ cup besan.
- Dry roast for 5 minutes or until the flour turns aromatic.
- Add 1 cup ghee and start roasting.
- Also, add 3 tbsp rava, pinch saffron food colour and roast on low flame.
- Roast until the flour turns golden brown and ghee releases.
- Cool the flour slightly by mixing continuously.
- Once the mixture is slightly warm, add 1½ cup powdered sugar, ½ tsp cardamom powder and 2 tbsp nuts.
- Mix well making sure everything is well combined.
- Further, transfer the mixture to the tray and level uniformly.
- Top with nuts and allow to set.
- Once the burfi has been set fully, cut to the required shape.
