Ingredients

  • 2 large mangoes ((about 2 cups))
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1 pinch saffron strands
  • 2 tablespoons water (or milk) (optional)

Method

  1. Cut the mango pulp into chunks and place them in a blender or food processor.
  2. Add sugar, a few saffron strands, and cardamom powder to the blender, and blend until you get a smooth puree. If the puree seems too thick, you can add a little water or milk to the consistency you need.
  3. Store in a container and chill it for at least an hour in the refrigerator.
