Chocolate Chips Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 cups butter(460 g), melted
- 2 cups brown sugar(440 g), packed
- 2 cups granulated sugar(400 g)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 5 cups all-purpose flour(625 g)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 4 cups chocolate chips(700 g)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large bowl, whisk brown sugar, granulated sugar and melted butter until evenly mixed and light in colour. Mix in eggs and vanilla until smooth, then fold in flour and baking powder to form a smooth dough.
- Fold chocolate chips through until evenly combined. Use an ice-cream scoop to put 6 dough balls on a parchment-lined baking tray. Bake for 12 minutes and serve. To save dough for later, scoop it into balls and place side by side on a baking tray lined with parchment.
- Cover the tray with cling wrap and freeze for up to one month. To bake from frozen, take the desired number of dough balls off the tray and bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes at 375°F (190°C). Enjoy.
