Ingredients

  • 8 slices white bread
  • 0.5 cup peanut butter
  • 0.25 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella®)
  • 4 teaspoons miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, or more as needed
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar

Steps

  1. Remove the bread crusts, then flatten each slice into a square with a rolling pin.
  2. On each bread square, spread about 1 tablespoon peanut butter followed by 1/2 tablespoon hazelnut spread. Sprinkle each with about 1/2 teaspoon mini chocolate chips, then roll up.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together eggs and milk and coat each roll with this mixture.
  4. Over medium heat, melt butter in a skillet. Put the rolls in seam side down and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown on every side. Add more butter if needed.
  5. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar across a plate. As soon as the rolls leave the skillet, roll them in the sugar and shake off the excess. Serve warm.
