Ingredients
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp cumin
- ½ onion (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- ½ capsicum (finely chopped)
- 3 tbsp peas
- 1 carrot (chopped)
- 2 tomato (chopped)
- ¼ tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 3 tsp pav bhaji masala
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 potato (boiled)
- 2 tbsp coriander (chopped)
- 5 cup cooked rice (basmati)
- 2 chilli (slit)
- ½ lemon
Method
- Firstly, in a large kadai heat 2 tbsp oil, 1 tbsp butter and splutter 1 tsp cumin.
- Add ½ onion, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and saute until onion softens.
- Now add ½ capsicum, 3 tbsp peas, 1 carrot, 2 tomato and stir fry until the vegetables turn crunchy.
- Keeping the flame on low, add ¼ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chilli powder, 3 tsp pav bhaji masala and 1 tsp salt.
- Saute until the spices turn aromatic.
- Also, add 2 tbsp water and cook until all the masala are cooked well.
- Add in 1 potato, 2 tbsp coriander and mix until the masala is coated well.
- Further, add 5 cup cooked rice and mix gently.
- Now add 2 chilli, 2 tbsp coriander and ½ lemon. Mix well making sure everything is well combined.
- Finally, enjoy Tawa Pulao Recipe with raita.
