Easy Singapore Fried Rice Recipe | Takeway Style Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • ¼ cup paneer (chopped)
  • 5 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • 1 inch ginger (chopped)
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
  • 2 tbsp spring onion (chopped)
  • ½ onion (finely chopped)
  • ½ capsicum (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp cabbage (chopped)
  • ½ carrot (chopped)
  • 3 beans (chopped)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp pepper powder
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp vinegar
  • 4 cup cooked rice

Method

  1. Firstly, heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok and fry ¼ cups paneer until golden brown. Keep aside.
  2. Add 5 cloves of garlic, 1 inch of ginger, ½ tsp chilli flakes, 2 tbsp spring onion and stir fry.
  3. Also add ½ onions, ½ capsicums, 2 tbsp cabbage, ½ carrots, 3 beans, and 1 tsp salt.
  4. Keeping the flame on low, add ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp garam masala and ½ tsp pepper powder.
  5. Saute on a low flame till the spices turn aromatic.
  6. Further add 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 2 tsp soy sauce, 2 tsp vinegar. Stir-fry on high flame.
  7. Now add 4 cups cooked rice, 1 tsp salt and mix well.
  8. Finally, enjoy the Singapore Fried Rice Recipe with sauce.
