Ingredients
- 4 medium roma tomato (deseeded, diced (about 2 cups))
- 1/2-3/4 cup red onion (finely chopped)
- 1/4 cup cilantro (finely chopped)
- 1 jalapeno (deseeded and finely minced (optional))
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- salt (to taste)
- black pepper (to taste)
Method
- Chop all the ingredients. In a bowl add diced tomatoes, onions, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice, salt and pepper.
- Stir everything together. You can wait for 10-15 minutes for all the flavors to blend. For more intense flavor, chill for up to 1-2 hours before serving. Serve it with tortilla chips.
