Ingredients

  • 150 g Paneer (grated)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander, finely chopped
  • 2 Green Chilies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Water as needed, to knead the dough
  • Oil for frying
  • Tomato sauce for serving

Steps

  1. Mix the all-purpose flour with salt and oil in a mixing bowl. Knead to a firm dough, adding water gradually, then divide it into equal portions.
  2. Roll the portions into thin rotis. Brush one roti lightly with oil, sprinkle a little dry flour over it and lay another roti on top. Gently roll the pair once more, then cook lightly on a hot pan, stopping when only partially cooked. Let cool before carefully pulling the two layers apart.
  3. For the stuffing, combine grated paneer, chopped coriander, green chilies, salt and black pepper powder thoroughly. Spread a thin layer of flour slurry along each sheet's edges and form a cone. Fill with the paneer mixture and firmly seal into a samosa. Continue with the remaining sheets and stuffing.
  4. Heat the oil over a medium flame. Deep-fry the samosas until golden brown, crisp and fully cooked, then enjoy them hot and crisp with tomato sauce.
