Salmon fillet with lemon

Weeknight dinner with one pan, six ingredients, and twenty minutes. The trick is starting the salmon skin-side down in a cold pan.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets, skin on
  • 4 cloves garlic, sliced thin
  • 1 lemon, half juiced, half in wheels
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Handful of green beans
  • Salt and cracked pepper

Method

Cold pan, skin down, medium heat. Walk away for six minutes. Flip, add butter, garlic and lemon, baste for two. Beans go in alongside. Done.
