- 1 cup chilled water
- 1 tablespoon sugar ((or maple syrup, honey), optional)
- icecubes (as needed)
Optional Add-ins
- 1 tablespoon lime juice ((or lemon juice), optional)
Method
Prep
- First, wash the strawberries, remove the green stems and roughly chop them. Note: The greens are edible and contain nutrients, so you can save them.
Using a Blender/Immersion Blender
- Transfer the strawberries, water, lime juice, and sweetener to a high-speed blender like Vitamix or use an immersion blender. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the juice into the serving glass with ice cubes and enjoy immediately or allow it chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Note: If you don’t like pulp in your juice, strain it through a fine-mesh strainer or a nut milk bag.
Using a Juicer
- Put the strawberries pieces into your juicer chute one at a time.
- Collect the juice, squeeze some lime juice and add sweetener of your choice. Dilute it with some water if desired and enjoy!
