Easy Chilli Mushroom Recipe | Mushroom Chilli Dry - Street Style

Ingredients
- 20 mushroom (half)
- ½ tsp chilli powder
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 tbsp corn flour
- 2 tbsp maida
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ cup water
- oil (for deep frying)
for manchurian:
- 2 tbsp oil
- 5 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- 1 inch ginger (finely chopped)
- 2 chilli (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp spring onion (chopped)
- ½ onion (finely chopped)
- ½ capsicum (cubed)
- ½ onion (petals)
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 2 tsp chilli sauce
- 2 tsp vinegar
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp corn flour slurry
Method
- Firstly, in a bowl take 20 mushroom in a bowl and blanch in hot water for 5 minutes.
- Drain off the water, and transfer the mushroom into the bowl.
- Add in ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and mix well.
- Also add 2 tbsp corn flour, 2 tbsp maida and ½ tsp salt.
- Mix well, making sure everything is well combined.
- Add in water and prepare the batter coating uniformly.
- Deep fry into oil, keeping the flame on medium.
- Fry until the mushroom turns golden brown and crisp.
- Drain off and keep aside.
- In the wok heat 2 tbsp oil, 5 cloves garlic, 1 inch ginger and 2 chilli.
- Stir fry till the spices turn aromatic.
- Also fry 2 tbsp spring onion, ½ onion till the onion softens.
- Add ½ capsicum, ½ onion and stir fry till the capisucm turn crunchy.
- Now add 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 2 tsp chilli sauce, 2 tsp vinegar, 2 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp chilli powder and ½ tsp salt.
- Sir fry till the sauces are well combined.
- Also add 2 tbsp corn flour slurry and cook till the sauce turns glossy.
- Add in fried mushroom, 2 tbsp spring onion and mix well.
