Soft and gooey bars made with oats and apple

Ingredients
- 2 cups oats (old fashioned)
- 2 cups apple (chopped into small pieces)
- ½ cup whole wheat flour
- ¼ cup oil [any oil like canola (vegetable])
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ cup honey
- 4 tsp sprinkles
- 2 tsp milk
Method
- Preheat the oven to 350 F degrees. Remove the skin of the apples, chop them into small pieces and set aside.
- Roast the oats in the oven at 350 F for 2-3 minutes. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together vanilla, oil and brown sugar until combined.
- Stir in the oats and whisk till it mixes well with the sugar and oil.
- Add in the whole wheat flour and mix.
- Stir in the cinnamon and mix.
- Fold in the apples slowly.
- Now add in the honey and mix using a spatula. Also add the milk
- Lastly, fold in the sprinklers.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the mixture on it. Press the mixture tightly using a spoon or spatula.
- Bake at 350 F degrees for 25-30 minutes.
- Allow it too cool. Once it has cooled down, transfer the tray to the fridge for 2 hours.
- Cut into bars using a pizza cutter once completely set.
