Guava Ice-cream
Ingredients
- 2 whole guavas
- 3 tbsp condensed milk
- Half cup fresh cream
- 2 tbsp water
- Some chopped nuts for decoration
- 2 tbsp milk powder
- Some rock salt and some red chilli powder for garnishing
Steps
- Cut off the guava top, leaving a half cm border in the guava body. Use a round spoon to clear the middle so that all seeds come out of the fruit. Set the top aside to use as a cover.
- Put the scooped middle portion into a grinding jar with 2 tbsp water and grind well.
- Pour this into a strainer and strain thoroughly, leaving the seeds on the strainer and extracting the pulp.
- Transfer to a bowl and add some fresh cream, milk powder and some condensed milk. Mix everything well, then blend for 10 seconds.
- Pour the mixture into the hollow guavas and put chopped nuts on top. Cover with the guava tops cut in step one. Support each guava on a small bowl.
- Leave it in the refrigerator overnight, then cut pieces as you wish. Sprinkle with some red chilli powder and some rock salt, and serve chilled.
