Ingredients

  • Filter coffee powder
  • 2 cup Milk
  • Sugar as per taste
  • Water

Steps

  1. Use the set's lower tumbler to measure the water. Bring it to boiling point, then turn off the heat.
  2. Pack 4 tsp of coffee powder tightly into the upper cup by pressing it down. Pour in the boiling water once the powder is pressed, then cover.
  3. The decoction collects in the lower portion of the set. Boil the milk in a pan and add sugar.
  4. Pour the decoction into the boiling milk, using more for a darker coffee or less for a lighter one. Mix thoroughly and switch off the heat; do not boil again once the decoction has been added. Pour from a height into cups to produce the froth on top, as in udupis.
