Akkha Masoor Recipe (Kolhapuri style)
Akkha Masoor is a spiced whole brown lentil dish from Kolhapuri cuisine in Maharashtra. Roasted coconut, sesame seeds and spices give it a rich and nutty flavor. This recipe has a semi-dry consistency with tender lentils that hold their shape. Serve it with steamed rice, roti, chapati or paratha.
