Recipe Snapshot

  • Prep time: 10 minutes
  • Cook time: Not specified
  • Total time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 2
  • Category: Beverage
  • Cuisine: American, Indian

Ingredients

  • 2 mangoes (use sweet mangoes, preferably Indian varieties like kesar, alphonso)
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
  • 1 & 1/2 cups milk (I used whole milk)

Method

  1. To a blender (of you can also use a hand blender), add mango pulp from 2 sweet mangoes. Then add 1 to 2 tablespoons of sugar to taste. Amount of sugar will also depend on how sweet the mangoes are. If the mangoes are really sweet, you can even skip the sugar.
  2. Then add 1 & 1/2 cups of cold milk. You can use milk of choice. Whole milk makes it creamier.
  3. Blend until everything is well combined. You can also add 3 to 4 ice cubes if you want. Thick and creamy mango milkshake is now ready. Pour into serving glasses and serve immediately.
