Ingredients
- 2 liters full-fat milk
- 4 tbsp Vinegar
- Cold water
Steps
- Use a heavy-bottom pan to heat 2 liters of milk.

- The milk will separate as it curdles, forming paneer and whey (water).
- Strain the paneer through a muslin cloth, then wash it 2โ3 times with cold water to take away the sourness.
- After tying the cloth, put a heavy weight on it and keep it there for 30 minutes.
- Cut the paneer to make cubes, or cut it to the shape you prefer.
- You now have fresh, soft paneer made at home.
- Ways to use the paneer:
- The paneer can go into Paneer Bhurji, Shahi Paneer, Palak Paneer, Paneer Paratha or Paneer Tikka.
