Ingredients

  • 200 grams paneer cut into cubes, (about 1 cup)
  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric
  • ½-3/4 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala
  • salt to taste

Steps

  1. Put 200 grams paneer, cut into 1-inch cubes, in a bowl and soak in hot water for 15 minutes to soften store-bought paneer. Skip this step for homemade paneer.
  2. Mix ¼ teaspoon turmeric, ½ teaspoon red chili powder, ½ teaspoon garam masala, salt and 2 teaspoons oil well in a bowl. Add paneer cubes and mix to coat every piece well.
  3. Set the air fryer to preheat at 355°F (180°C). Arrange paneer in its basket in a single layer, working in batches if needed.
  4. Air-fry at 355°F (180°C) for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through so it cooks evenly.
  5. The paneer is ready; move to a serving plate and serve warm.
