- 200 gms chicken
- 15-20 beans
- 1 small onion roughly chopped

- 1/2 inch ginger crushed
- 1 crushed black pepper

- Boil the chicken pieces with the onion, ginger, garlic, green chilli and salt in a heavy-bottomed pan containing 500 to 600 ml water for 8 to 10 mins. Keep the strained water to use later as chicken stock.
- Tear the chicken into shreds and remove any bones if present.
- Use a heavy-bottomed pan to heat 1 tblspn of butter, then add the preboiled beans. As the chicken stock is already salty, season with a little salt and black pepper to taste. After a couple of mins of cooking, add the shredded chicken and chicken stock. Check the seasoning, then cook for 10 mins.
