Ingredients

  • 4 skin-on, boneless chicken thighs
  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.75 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps

  1. Set out all the ingredients and preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C), following the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Dry the chicken thighs with a paper towel and brush the skins with olive oil. Arrange them skin-side down in a single layer on a plate.
  3. Mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Sprinkle ½ evenly over the thighs, turn them over, and evenly apply the remaining ½ seasoning mixture. Arrange the thighs in a single layer in the air fryer basket with the skins facing up.
  4. Cook in the preheated air fryer for about 18 minutes, until the thighs are brown and their juices run clear. Check with an instant-read thermometer in the centers for a reading of at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
  5. Serve the thighs and enjoy.
