Italian Grilled Fish
Ingredients
- 350 Grams Sumero Fish Fillets
- 10 Cloves Garlic, chopped finely
- 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 3/4 Tablespoon Basil Dried
- 1/2 Tablespoon Parsley Dried
- To Taste Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Wine Cooking
- To Taste Black Pepper Powder
- To Taste Chilli Chillies Flakes / Fresh Red es chopped
- 2 Pinchs Brown Sugar
Steps
- Let the fillets thaw, drain away the water and set them aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a nonstick pan, then stir in the garlic until it takes on a brownish color.
- Put in the dried herbs, chilli flakes, salt, pepper and brown sugar, mixing gently.
- Pour in the wine next. Reduce the heat to low and let the wine simmer for 1-2 mins.
- Switch off the heat and leave the mixture to cool.
- Coat the fish fillets with this mixture to marinate them, then leave aside for about 5-6 mins.
- While the fish is marinating, preheat the oven to 120 degrees Celsius.
- Brush a tray with oil, arrange the fillets on it and place it in the oven to grill.
- Give one side 6-7 mins of cooking, then flip the fillets and cook the other side for another 5-6 mins. They are done when the flesh is whitish and flaky. Depending on the type of fish, the cooking time may increase or decrease by 3-4 mins.
- Serve hot; it may not need accompaniments such as chutney, sauce or vinaigrette.
- Soup, grilled vegetables and bread can be served with the fish.
