Ingredients

  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 0.25 cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

Steps

  1. Assemble the ingredients and preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, warm the olive oil and garlic for 1 to 2 minutes. Pour into a shallow bowl.
  3. Mix the bread crumbs and Parmesan together in a different shallow bowl.
  4. With tongs, dip the chicken breasts into the olive oil-garlic mixture, then coat evenly with the bread crumb mixture. Put the coated chicken in a shallow baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until no pink remains and the juices run clear. Check the center with an instant-read thermometer: it must read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
