Ingredients
- 7 rolls fettuccine pasta
- 1/2 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp oil
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp finely chopped garlic
- 1 cup fresh cream
- 1 & 1/2 cup boiled & chilled milk + 1/2 cup boiled & chilled milk
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
- Salt as per taste
- 2 cheese slices
Steps
- Heat enough water for boiling the fettuccine and add salt and oil.
- When the water boils, add fettuccine and boil until 80% cooked, approximately 7 to 8 minutes.
- Strain the pasta, pour some cold water over it and set the strainer aside.
- Warm oil in a nonstick pan and saute finely chopped garlic for 30 seconds or until its raw smell disappears.
- Add fresh cream and cook until it starts bubbling. Add chilled milk while stirring continuously.
- Mix in black pepper powder, red chilli flakes, mixed herbs and salt to taste well. Add cheese slices and mix well again.
- Once the sauce thickens, mix in fettuccine well. Add boiled and chilled milk and cook over a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
- The fettuccine in Alfredo sauce is ready. Move to a serving plate and, optionally, sprinkle red chilli flakes on top.
- Serve hot alongside garlic bread.
